14th Annual Shoot for a Cure
The Colors of Hartford

Halfway through the two-day “Shoot for a Cure".

After a day of rain, a double rainbow colors the sky; a spectrum that describes the weekend.

Friday night: months of planning, miles of driving and the armloads of lifting. Color this Red.

Hundreds of clay targets, the pig roast, fruit on the buffet and the sunset. Color these Orange.

The sun on Sunday, Pitter Patty the Clown, the Wave soccer challenge, the refreshments, and the faces of everyone you meet. Color these smiley faces Yellow.

The tents, the raffles sitting on the grass, the special clay targets and the dollars raised. Color these Green.

The t-shirts, the sky, the Hartford Committee & the members of the Gun Club, the sponsors, the donors and all the participants. Color them all “true" Blue.

The celebrities, the Kopper Kreek Band and the St. Lawrence Fire Department. Color them Indigo.

The passion of all those involved to dedicate one weekend a year for the past 14 years to improve the lives of those they may never meet. Color them Purple.

Shortening the road to a million dollars raised and forging friendships that the Women for MACC hold very dear; a Pot of Gold!
