Shoot for a Cure 2009 ~ Breaking through a million!
August 29 – 30th, Hartford Conservation and Gun Club

In the past 18 years, the Hartford Conservation & Gun Club, in partnership with Women for MACC has raised nearly $948,000 to support groundbreaking pediatric cancer research.  This summer, the Shoot will surpass the million dollar mark!  The Nineteenth Annual Gene Johann Memorial “Shoot for a Cure” will take place on August 29th & 30th, at the gun club (6000 Hwy. 60 in Hartford).

Join this generous group of sportsmen and women:

                                     - As a participant
                                     - As a spectator
                                     - As a volunteer
                                     - As a donor

This two-day event begins with a corporate patron invitational on Saturday, with over 100 five-person teams participating.  Sunday provides fun and entertainment for the whole family.  These events include a pledged 50-bird trap shoot for individual fundraisers, the Celebrity/Youth Trapshoot, a Firefighters Shoot, the Youth Team Trapshooting competition, and a children’s area for the younger set.

Throughout the weekend, raffles geared to all ages, sought after silent auction offerings, and a grand raffle will be held. If you are interested in participating, sponsoring a team, contributing an auction item, or have any questions, please contact the Gun Club at (262) 673-9919, or Vickie Bence (262) 567-5526 or Cheryl Sykora (414) 774-4239.  The website for the Hartford Conservation & Gun Club is: www.hcgc-inc.org.
