About Hartford Conservation and Gun Club
Established in 1937, the Hartford Conservation and Gun Club is open to the public year round. The Club has six outdoor trap fields, a 5-standing sporting clay system, and an indoor 10-station shooting range.
Other annual events include the January Fisheree, the May and July ATA registered trap shoots, the June Kettle Moraine Ducks Unlimited Fun Nite and member Family Fun Day and Picnic.
Hartford Conservation and Gun Club is committed to community services through:
- Encourage safe firearm use
- Availing the Club’s state-of-the-art indoor pistol range to law enforcement agencies
- Supporting state conservation, preservation and pheasant release programs
- Providing two annual scholarships to area high school seniors who
demonstrate and pursue study in conservation, forestry, or a related field
- Active participants in area Hunter Safety Programs
