for MACC Women’s Doubles
Tennis Tournament Slated for June 4th
The 22nd Annual Women
for MACC Women’s Doubles Tennis Tournament will be held on Friday, June 4th
at area GMITA (Greater Milwaukee Indoor Tennis Association) member tennis clubs.
Annually, over 300 women compete in 
this
great tournament and then enjoy a raffle and luncheon at the Italian Community
Center in Milwaukee’s third ward. The afternoon concludes with the presentation
of tournament awards. The morning tennis matches begin at 8:30 a.m. with the reception
and raffle following at 12:00 p.m. The luncheon and awards program starts at 2:00
p.m.
The tournament is round
robin, whereby each team is assured a minimum of three matches. Division breakouts
will follow league guidelines. Sporty tennis tops with the 2004 Women for MACC
Women’s Doubles Tennis Tournament official logo (shown right) will be available
in April.
This year’s event
is co-chaired by Stephanie Brunkhorst and Pat Stapelkamp with Sue Lass, Tommie
Bohl and Marilyn Casper serving as tournament directors.
